Responsibilities
- Work in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents –from newborn to elders –through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere
- Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan
- Health Promotion, Assessments, planning and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; primary care and emergency care; travel nursing; experience creating care plans; IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizations
- Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- Licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- Willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
- Meet the required work experience
- Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview
- New hires may be required to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc. (dependent upon Provincial government regulations and position)
