About the Role

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment, practicing an expanded scope of nursing to deliver primary and emergency care for all residents—from newborns to elders—through nursing stations and health centers in a clinic setting
- Apply advanced skills in observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching, guided by individualized care plans
- Lead health promotion initiatives, conduct assessments, and plan and implement care using Best Practice Clinical Guidelines
- Provide comprehensive services including primary care, emergency care, travel nursing, care plan development, infection prevention and control (IPAC), communicable disease management, and immunizations
- Ensure the comfort and safety of clients at all times, within the scope of practice
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Hold a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- Willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work
- Meet the required work experience
- Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview
- New hires may be required to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc., dependent upon Provincial government regulations and the position being applied for
