About the Role
This role involves operating autonomous vehicles for testing, contributing to advanced technology, and ensuring high safety standards. It is suitable for individuals with excellent driving skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to react swiftly and safely in adverse driving conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely and lawfully operate autonomous vehicles to collect critical data on system performance and environmental factors.
- Professionally interact with riders, engineers, and company operations leaders to provide feedback and insights.
- Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing to ensure operational safety.
- Prepare vehicles daily for in-field operations, including safety checks and system readiness.
- Submit detailed reports to support system advancements and operational improvements.
- Be prepared for the actions of other drivers and pedestrians as well as for unexpected events.
- Maintain alertness and avoid distractions while in vehicles.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of a valid US driving license
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic regulations
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on different types of roads
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
- Clean driving record, absent of DUI, drug and/or alcohol related offenses within the last 5 years

- Tuesday - Saturday schedule
- Sunday - Thursday schedule
- AM Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
- AM Shift: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
- AM Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- AM Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
- PM Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
- PM Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
- PM Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
- PM Shift: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
Salary/Compensations
- $21-$25/hr for AM shifts
- $24-$27/hr for PM shifts
