About the Role

This role involves managing and maintaining critical infrastructure within a large-scale data center. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining mission-critical electrical and HVAC systems, such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, chillers, cooling towers, and computer room air handlers, while adhering to safety procedures. The engineer will perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, and monitor facility systems using BMS, EPMS, and HMI platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain critical infrastructure within a large-scale data center environment
  • Operate and maintain a broad range of mission-critical systems, emphasizing electrical and HVAC
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment using detailed technical procedures
  • Monitor facility systems through BMS, EPMS, and HMI platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Technical degree
  • Up to two years of relevant experience
  • Electrical and/or HVAC trade certifications preferred
  • Experience in other mission-critical environments such as hospitals or military facilities is a plus
