About the Role

Emerson’s Test & Measurement business group (NI) delivers smarter test and reliability solutions for the evolving semiconductor and electronics ecosystem. This Business Line Lead (BLL) role within NI’s Semiconductor & Electronics Business Unit (SEBU) is critical for growing the global semiconductor Power, Optical, & Wafer (POW) test business. The BLL owns the P&L and overall strategy for their market segment, requiring exceptional leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams and represent SEBU to customer management, ensuring NI’s commitment to the production test and reliability industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a test strategy for profitable and sustainable revenue growth, expanding the addressable market.
  • Guide Business Managers globally in interacting with NI Sales, building customer relationships, and prioritizing production test opportunities.
  • Guide Business Managers in gathering and documenting market requirements for products and solutions.
  • Guide System Architects in refining market requirements into system and product level requirements for R&D.
  • Establish a desired roadmap to meet long and short-term strategies and interlock with R&D.
  • Provide multi-year forecasts, including roadmap investments, and drive the business to meet forecasts.
  • Provide regular updates on market segment revenue and quarterly forecasts, including market, business, and global customer insights.
  • Prioritize Application Engineering resources across global customer engagements for highest success probability.
  • Align with SEBU Marketing Lead and Solution Marketers to develop sales enablement content and events.
  • Work with Sales Management on Go-To-Market plan execution and track revenue against forecasts.
  • Establish deep relationships with target customer management.
  • Work with team members on personal development, coaching, mentoring, and providing growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor test industry.
  • Understanding the Optoelectronics market and expected growth.
  • Understanding or experience of the wafer parametric and semiconductor reliability market.
  • Sales, business development, product management, or technical marketing experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and build cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating growth strategies and driving adoption of technical products and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor production test and/or reliability test.
  • Experience in working with multifaceted cultures and countries as part of a global organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40%.
