About the Role

Episode Six is a global provider of API-based issuer processing and ledger infrastructure. We are a 100% cloud-native, hyper-configurable company that is changing how people think about payments. We are looking for a Platform Operations Specialist to join our America's team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Software Releases and Infrastructure Updates on PaaS instances, AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters, cloud infrastructure, and Linux/Windows servers.
• Maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Support software development and testing activities.
• Support client onboarding and migrations.
• Conduct routine testing of system backups and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Perform regular daily Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance.
• Create and maintain internal documentation.
• Participate in a standard on-call rotation with other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years AWS Cloud management experience (or other relevant Public Cloud provider).
• 3+ years Kubernetes cluster administration.
• 3+ years Linux O/S management experience.
• 2+ years’ experience using Python scripting.
• Demonstrated infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
