About the Role

Provide comprehensive support in all aspects of community operations for an affordable housing asset, including sales, leasing, inventory analysis, budgeting, reporting, property management, rent collection, customer service, maintenance, and administrative activities.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve property occupancy goals.
  • Ensure daily completion of Lead Tracking Solutions follow-up steps and data entry.
  • Assist with leasing tours, phone calls, and online inquiries.
  • Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests.
  • Assist the Community Manager in designing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., newsletters, referral programs, social activities).
  • Maintain inventory and order administrative supplies and maintenance equipment.
  • Ensure efficient and timely reporting, maintenance, and submission of administrative forms, files, and reports.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or property.
  • Assist in regular onsite audits of tenant files for compliance with program documents, financing restrictions, LIHTC, HUD, TDHCA, and TAA requirements.
  • Assist in regular audits of work order processing, unit turnaround time, EIV requirements, reasonable accommodation policies, move-ins/outs, recertifications, lease renewals, interims, denials, and waitlists.
  • Bring non-compliance issues to the Community Manager's attention and assist in corrective action.
  • Assist with lease audits, housing inspections, and follow-up on citations or requests.
  • Ensure the community maintains all compliance regulations.
  • Support the Community Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and personnel management tasks, including disciplinary and promotional actions.
  • Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth.
  • Participate in Solidago training as required.

Requirements

  • Maintain a consistent level of professional customer service.
  • Working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, TDHCA, TAA, low-income housing tax credit, tax-exempt bond, and other affordable housing programs preferred.
  • Prior experience in affordable housing and community relations preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Solidago and community policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and the Google platform.
  • Working knowledge of OneSite affordable property management software preferred.
  • Available to work weekends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between work sites.
