About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will plan and oversee all aspects of the organizational strategy to ensure that families in the target area are stable and thriving. The Senior Project Manager will establish effective and strong working relationships with clients and other key community partners.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify high impact partners.
- Oversee, monitor and lead sub-contractors and partners.
- Develop and sustain new working relationships with key partner organizations.
- Coordinate and manage the development of any special projects.
- Collaborate with the housing management team to ensure housing stability goals are addressed.
- Develop robust partnerships to increase economic development.
- Develop and implement a neighborhood revitalization plan.
- Develop and implement an Annual Plan for the target area.
- Track and report programmatic outcomes and engage in ongoing evaluation.
- Monitor the productivity of data entered into the LEARN Performance Management System.
- Facilitate community building, leadership training and capacity building activities.
- Support sustainability planning, fundraising and resource development efforts.
- Manage project contracts and budgets.
- Develop and present or publish internal and external reports.
- Actively participate in Urban Strategies program meetings and other meetings.
- Be available to occasionally work nights and/or weekends, and travel.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Five years of work experience in the not-for-profit or human services sector.
- Demonstrated progressively higher levels of responsibility for managing all aspects of a project or program.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing partnerships and contracts.
- Demonstrated experience supervising a team of individuals.
- Must provide writing sample demonstrating effective persuasive writing.
- Must excel in fast-paced environment with multiple service locations and a broad set of diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse persons and communities.
- Ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
- Ability to work independently and with initiative.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to develop and balance a program/project budget.
