About the Role
The People team is seeking a mid-level People Business Partner to support carwow's growth across the UK, Germany, Spain, and Portugal. This role is a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leadership and employees, focusing on performance, delivery, execution, and engagement to enable, elevate, and empower staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to assigned Business Units by understanding their departmental goals and delivering tailored strategic assistance.
- Offer efficient and effective solutions to stakeholder problems discreetly and promptly.
- Drive a high-performance culture via effective performance management, including talent mapping and review processes.
- Support organizational growth and development through guidance on organizational design, succession planning, and learning and development.
- Autonomously handle most employee relations cases, with support for complex issues.
- Gather and transform data into evidence-based insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on and deliver People projects based on company needs.
- Guide change management initiatives, providing clarity and reassurance.
- Work with the Senior Culture and Inclusion Manager to build targeted engagement plans and embed inclusive practices.
Requirements
- Experience as a People Business Partner or a competent Advisor/Coordinator within a People team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business partnering principles (coaching, support tools, feedback exchange, talent management).
- Confidence in handling the majority of employee relations cases.
- Strong communication skills, adaptable to different stakeholders.
- High emotional intelligence for managing sensitive situations discreetly.
- Strategic thinking ability to anticipate future company needs and plan initiatives.
- Ability to balance data and process with unique circumstances.
- Base-level understanding of employment law and a curiosity to learn more.
