About the Role
As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technology leadership and consultation to customers and internal technical teams. Responsibilities include assessing technical feasibility, designing scalable and secure solutions, and driving strategic technical initiatives for key clients. You will bridge business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring seamless integration of enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party services.
Responsibilities
- Assess technical feasibility of business requirements and propose optimal solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance for complex customer integrations, ensuring scalability and security.
- Oversee and drive large technical shifts within enterprise environments.
- Design architectures for seamless integration between enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party services.
- Design adapters and new integrations to support customer-driven technology changes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve technical implementations for efficiency and performance.
- Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends, incorporating them into solution architectures.
- Lead efforts to optimize and modernize existing solutions, identifying re-architecture and refactoring opportunities.
- Act as a technical advisor to executives, product managers, and development teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive stakeholder alignment.
- Engage with customers to provide expert guidance on technical decisions and integration strategies.
- Provide feedback to Product & Engineering (P&E) to ensure customer needs are reflected in the roadmap.
- Provide technical mentorship to implementation and development teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices in software development and deployment.
- Participate in architecture review boards and technical design discussions.
- Gain deep hands-on experience with products, including demo, extension, and integration capabilities.
- Write code to enhance platform capabilities and align with evolving technology trends in AI, automation, and software development.
- Understand the third-party ecosystem surrounding products and guide customers in technology choices.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of design principles, full SDLC, and service-oriented architecture.
- Expert problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven experience contributing to Agile environments.
- Availability for on-call/emergency support.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Fluent written and oral communication in English.
