About the Role

Spencer Dentistry is a family-friendly, patient-centered, modern dental practice seeking a compassionate, organized, and service-oriented Dental Patient Care Coordinator. This role is the first point of contact for patients, playing a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience and supporting administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls: schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and support patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental.
  • Process patient information, insurance details, and claims according to office policies.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  • Support treatment plan coordination and financial discussions, when required.
  • Complete administrative duties including filing, data entry, email correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area.
  • Assist with monitoring and ordering office supplies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of dental administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional presentation, positive attitude, and patient-centered mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, team-oriented clinical environment.

Skills

  • Open Dental software experience is an asset.

Salary/Compensations

  • $22.00–$26.00 per hour
