About the Role

The Project Procurement and Logistics Manager (PPLM) serves as the primary interface for the Project Manager or Project Procurement Leader (PPL), coordinating all Sourcing, Procurement, and Logistics activities across a project portfolio. This role is fully accountable for the complete fulfillment of project procurement activities and commitments, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost, as negotiated by the Sourcing team.

Responsibilities

  • Own quality, costs (as negotiated by sourcing), and on-time delivery of project materials and services
  • Co-own the Engineering Procurement Plan for the scope, where applicable
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Sourcing) to ensure timely delivery of supplier documents (drawings, quotations)
  • Own and monitor the material budget
  • Establish the procurement schedule and conduct periodic progress monitoring
  • Coordinate timely issuance of purchase requisitions for timely PO placement
  • Follow up on timely closure of supplier-related Non-Conformance Reports (NCPs)
  • Support Sourcing in obtaining technical specifications from engineering on-time
  • Participate in and/or initiate periodic project meetings with relevant stakeholders (quality, lead engineering, planning, logistics, project engineering manager), generate notes/actions, and follow up on actions
  • Regularly review supplier fulfillment against contractual requirements regarding customs and duties, with support from relevant functions
  • Oversee claim management with suppliers in coordination with the project's Commodity Leader/Buyer
  • Report monthly progress, supplier claims, and project cost summary
  • Regularly update supplier cash out and project milestone recognition related to procurement
  • Represent procurement in internal and external project meetings, if applicable
  • Ensure invoices are released according to established processes
  • Support compliance with Quality and EHS rules applicable to the sourcing function
  • Support the PPL in achieving overall project targets and ensure alignment

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time
  • Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies

Skills

  • Experience as Project Manager, Tender Project Manager, Senior Purchasing Manager, Senior Sourcing Manager, or Sales Project Manager
  • Good understanding of legal/contractual aspects of an EPC contract

Experience Level

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC project in heavy industrial sector (preferably high voltage power generation and transmission)

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Salary/Compensations

  • Pay range: $101,400.00 - $152,000.00
  • Geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas
  • Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus
