About the Role
Climax Studios is seeking an experienced and talented UK-based Lighting Artist to create innovative artistic visuals for games. You will contribute to the team by conceiving and creating atmospheric lighting for in-game environments and cinematics, enhancing game environments through lighting, and telling stories through lighting.
Responsibilities
- Work with design and technical art teams to create balanced and atmospheric lighting for in-game environments and cinematics.
- Understand composition and enhance game environments and locations through lighting.
- Create lighting-related visual and post effects.
- Maintain and ensure runtime performance and optimization.
- Enhance the project's mood and tell stories through lighting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of lighting experience on a AAA project.
- Strong folio including examples of realistic modelling and environment.
- Creative and self-motivated.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
