About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Events Manager to own and deliver Modulr’s end-to-end events strategy and execution, from trade shows to customer conferences. You’ll bring strong event marketing and project management skills to create engaging, customer-focused experiences that support Modulr’s growth goals. You’ll lead regional events, customer roundtables, and partner gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of organising events from start to finish, encompassing budgeting, logistics, vendor management, on-site delivery, and post-event performance review.
- Spearhead the planning and execution of multiple key trade shows within our target sectors.
- Collaborate with content marketing, demand generation, and senior leadership to shape event messaging, establish timelines, develop agendas, and secure speakers.
- Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Work in partnership with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless and cohesive event delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyse event outcomes, and deliver actionable insights to maximise the effectiveness of our events.
- Continuously assess and enhance event management processes to enable scalability and drive operational excellence.
- Define clear success metrics, measure, and provide comprehensive reports on the influence of major events in terms of brand awareness, audience engagement, and pipeline contribution.
- Collaborate closely with broader marketing teams to guarantee consistent messaging and brand alignment across all event touchpoints.
Requirements
- A curious mindset and drive to explore how AI can make a real difference.
- Demonstrated track record of 3–5 years in delivering impactful event experiences, with essential hands-on experience in organising in-person events.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, navigating a fast-moving and dynamic working environment, ideally within FinTech or B2B SaaS.
- Experienced in coordinating both virtual and face-to-face event formats.
- Previous collaboration with external event agencies and production teams is desirable.
- Skilled at conceptualising and launching new events tailored to evolving business objectives.
- Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation, and communication abilities, enabling effective stakeholder engagement.
- Exposure to marketing experimentation, technology platforms, data analytics, or product management is considered a valuable asset.
