About the Role
This Field Auto Adjuster role involves writing estimates at customer homes, repair shops, or tow yards to ensure a smooth and efficient auto claims experience. Responsibilities include assessing damages, finalizing estimates with customers and repair shops through various interactions, and performing repairable estimates, total loss assessments, and virtual inspections. This is a fast-paced and rewarding opportunity offering variety and challenge.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, clear, and committed partnership in casualty claims.
- Investigate casualty and applicable line of business claims by reviewing damage and interpreting policies.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video chat to facilitate the claims process.
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
- Utilize estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims.
- Execute policies according to policy agreements and maintain accurate claim records in the claims system.
Requirements
- 18+ months experience in auto collision estimating using CCC One.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates.
- Comfortable utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Ability to obtain an adjuster s license in multiple markets within 60 days of hire.
- Maintain all required licensing, including continuing education and state-affiliated requirements.
- Terminate all existing insurance appointments prior to onboarding and not hold outside appointments during employment.
- Formally surrender resident producer license when instructed by the licensing team, if applicable.
- Submit to a background investigation.
- Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating for remote work.
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
