About the Role
Join the Cloud-Delivered Security Services team as a Sr. Staff Researcher to develop and refine security content for next-generation products. Build and optimize automation systems for real-time data, collaborate on threat analysis, and contribute to malware detection and prevention.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize automation systems for real-time data collection and threat detection.
- Apply advanced AI/ML methods, including anomaly detection and deep learning, for network traffic analysis and threat mitigation.
- Conduct in-depth research on network security countermeasures to identify and mitigate cyber attacks.
- Collaborate with security researchers to analyze adversarial activities and implement proactive protections.
- Continuously learn and apply knowledge of next-generation firewalls in modern network security.
- Translate threat research findings into tangible security solutions and product protections.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of malware types (Spyware, Ransomware, Exploits) and vulnerabilities (command injection, buffer overflow).
- Strong familiarity with network protocols (HTTP, SMTP, FTP).
- Proficiency in a programming language (Python or Go).
- Experience with ML/GenAI techniques (anomaly detection, deep learning, NLP) and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
- Practical exposure to malware analysis and Capture-the-Flag (CTF) exercises.
- Hands-on experience with traffic analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) and reverse engineering tools.
