About the Role

The Account Manager improves MCC Label’s market position and achieves financial growth. This role defines long-term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes deals, and maintains extensive market knowledge. The position focuses on New Account Development, Client Retention, and Account Planning, requiring collaboration with mid and senior-level management, marketing, and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients, including cold calling and setting up meetings with decision makers.
• Collaborate with the team to develop client-focused proposals.
• Participate in pricing solutions and services.
• Handle objections, clarify agreements, and negotiate effectively.
• Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships.
• Collaborate with technical staff, analytics, marketing, and internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
• Arrange and participate in client debriefs.
• Attend industry functions, providing feedback on market and creative trends.
• Present and consult with management on business trends to develop new services, products, and distribution channels.
• Identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators using market and competitor knowledge.
• Submit accurate weekly progress reports.
• Accurately enter and manage data in CRM or sales management systems.
• Forecast and meet sales targets.
• Track and record account activity.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven sales experience in labels or flexible packaging.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
