About the Role
Represent the Chase brand and culture, providing hospitality and utilizing banking solutions and financial technology. Lead in acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships, offering financial solutions to meet client needs and contribute to branch success.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize clients and exceed expectations by delivering attentive, friendly service and creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage assigned clients, meeting in person and over the phone to build relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product recommendations.
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and assist clients, building trust and anticipating needs.
- Educate clients on technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs for banking needs.
- Learn products, services, and procedures to consult clients on banking solutions and connect them with experts for specialized needs.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in client acquisition, relationship deepening, and results delivery.
- Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client experience.
- Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor product and service features and benefits to diverse client needs.
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, ensuring consistent client experience.
- Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including required training.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements.
- Unlicensed applicants must obtain required licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, with study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- College degree or military equivalent is preferred.
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators.
- Employment offer contingent on JPMC's review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant data for financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness.
- Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify from consideration.
- Continued employment contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 required upon active employment.
- Continued employment contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after start date, and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates.
