About the Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Linesight, you will join experienced, diverse teams, gaining industry experience and taking responsibility for career progression. The role emphasizes building lasting trusted relationships with teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Attend key meetings and design reviews to monitor progress, collaborate on problem-solving, and communicate impacts to partners.
- Participate in site walks with GC, Cost Manager, and client PM, assessing progress and identifying potential cost impacts.
- Consolidate data to prepare detailed estimates, ad-hoc cost reports, and analyses.
- Maintain project change management logs with detail and accuracy.
- Partner with the Cost Management team to complete complex client tasks.
- Monitor financial close-out on all projects, including vendor settlement.
Requirements
- Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
- Chartered or on the path to complete chartership.
- Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients.
