About the Role

As a Growth Marketing Manager- Affiliates and Referrals, you will lead the strategy and performance of one of the company’s most important marketing channels by driving lead generation through affiliate marketing and referral partnerships. You will be responsible for sourcing and developing new partners, managing and strengthening existing relationships, and optimizing commission structures to maximize growth and performance. Reporting to the Directors of Performance Marketing, North America, you will play a key role in shaping brand perception, influencing customer acquisition, and delivering measurable business results through one of Lightspeed’s largest marketing channels. Your contributions will be instrumental to the continued growth and success of the business. This is a 13-month fixed-term contract position starting in August 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute affiliate & referral marketing plans to drive user growth at scale
  • Identify new partners, negotiate agreements, and strengthen existing partnerships
  • Collaborate with Analytics team to track overall program performance and evaluate individual partnerships
  • Monitor and improve performance and conversion rates across the marketing and product funnel
  • Work with Marketing Operations and Data teams to build technical integrations with partners
  • Align with Brand Marketing team to promote consistent brand narrative

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, sales, partnerships or similar opportunities to negotiate with partners
  • Experience with Affiliate Networks (Impact, Rakuten, CJ)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while optimizing for highest impact
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in technical integration of partners

Skills

  • Lead-generation experience in a B2B environment
  • Affiliate strategy and execution, with focus on direct response in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of hitting aggressive targets and improving ROI and CAC
  • Hands-on experience using affiliate tracking tools
