About the Role
Talent Managers work in a team environment, negotiating and developing business with new and current clients. They market services via telephone, video, and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and develop business with new and current clients.
- Market services via telephone, video, and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments.
- Recruit, interview, and match highly skilled accounting and finance professionals with client projects, contract assignments, and contract-to-full-time opportunities.
- Manage ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates.
- Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates.
- Participate in local trade association and networking events to increase company presence.
Requirements
- Prior success marketing to and closing top level decision makers at small/medium sized businesses.
- Cultivating mutually beneficial long term relationships.
- Knowledge and familiarity with accounting and finance department operations.
- Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach.
Skills
- Working knowledge of current Windows Operating System.
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Contact Management Application (Salesforce).
Location
- NY Midtown, New York
Experience Level
- 1+ years finance, accounting, or banking experience preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience with Business Development in a Metrics Driven environment.
- At least one year of success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision maker environment.
Education Level
- Accounting/Finance/Business Administration degree preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $66,300.00 to $72,000.00
- Negotiable depending upon experience and location
- Eligible for a bonus based upon achievement of performance objectives.
