About the Role

Serve as the dedicated financial business partner for the Customer Success, Support, and Renewals organization. This individual contributor role drives financial transparency, supports strategic decision-making, and ensures efficient operations at scale, combining analytics, storytelling, and business partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary finance business partner to the Head of Customer Success, Support, and Renewals, providing financial guidance and decision support.
  • Manage annual planning, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and monthly actuals analysis for CS, Support, and Renewals cost centers.
  • Build and maintain financial models for headcount, capacity, and operating spend.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics including gross retention, net revenue retention (NRR), renewal rates, and cost-to-serve.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales Finance to align on ARR, churn, and expansion forecasts.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews for GTM leadership and the CFO.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations.
  • Support headcount planning and workforce decisions in collaboration with HR and GTM leadership.
  • Contribute to cross-functional finance initiatives, including long-range planning and GTM efficiency analysis.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A or business partnering roles at a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Direct experience supporting Customer Success, Renewals, or post-sales organizations, understanding retention and expansion metrics.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, capable of building models from scratch and communicating outputs clearly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive work as an individual contributor.
  • Highly analytical with a track record of converting data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, adaptable for executive and operator audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools (e.g., Pigment) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
