About the Role
As a member of the Global Talent team, a Senior Tech Recruiter drives the end-to-end recruiting process across Fastly, cultivating teams for various technical divisions (e.g., Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Product). This role involves partnering with hiring managers as a trusted advisor to develop strategies for identifying and hiring top candidates, and collaborating with the wider People Team to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience. We seek a seasoned Recruiter with a passion for technology, focusing on creativity and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Craft job postings and devise recruitment strategies with hiring managers across one or more verticals.
- Influence hiring teams to monitor and improve candidate experience.
- Source and engage passive candidates.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from job creation through candidate start date, emphasizing strong hiring manager partnerships and candidate advocacy.
- Strategize creative ways to build talent pipelines and execute tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine position and value alignment.
- Manage interview logistics and the hiring decision-making process with interviewers and hiring managers.
- Regularly track pipeline, priorities, and performance data to share with internal stakeholders.
- Drive offer negotiations and process in partnership with hiring managers and the Compensation team.
- Recommend improvements to sourcing, process, and candidate outreach.
- Participate in operational and Talent Acquisition related projects.
- Support company Inclusion & Diversity efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years progressive technical recruiting experience in a highly technical, engineering organization.
- In-house experience required.
- Experience hiring for multiple highly specialized, very senior, and niche positions simultaneously.
- Ability to proactively source and attract passive talent in the industry through multiple methods and channels.
- Demonstrated expertise in partnering cross-functionally with senior leadership to drive collaborative decisions and innovative solutions.
- Flexibility to support multiple functions within Tech teams.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to screen for both technical and team fit.
- Commitment to building diverse and inclusive teams where collaboration and respect are as important as technical ability.
- Extensive tech industry knowledge with the ability to identify target companies, conferences, and other sources for top industry-related talent.
- Strong track record of monitoring metrics and delivering against quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and work within structured hiring processes.
- Strong consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all organizational levels, as well as externally.

- Estimated salary range: $122,280 - $172,632
