About the Role

Liberis is building the embedded finance platform that lets partners around the world offer innovative funding products to their small business customers. We're a growth-stage fintech with teams in London, Atlanta, Stockholm, Munich and Mumbai, and we're at a point where the platform challenges are genuinely interesting. Product owns outcomes, not just delivery, offering real autonomy and partnership with engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

Own the product vision, roadmap and delivery across Financial Systems (Funding, Ledger, Merchant Revenue) and Merchant Identity.
Lead complex platform initiatives end-to-end: vendor-to-AI transitions, new payment rail buildouts, cross-provider infrastructure management, and data model evolution.
Sit with engineers daily to understand data flows and API contracts.
Drive cross-functional alignment on initiatives requiring buy-in from Risk, Finance, Commercial, and Engineering leadership.
Manage vendor relationships and make build-vs-buy decisions.
Build technical roadmaps that balance architectural health with commercial delivery.

Requirements

A systems thinker who considers data models, identity resolution, and team dependencies.
Technically deep, able to read schemas, follow data flows, and discuss API design and migration strategies with engineers.
Comfortable with complexity, having led large migrations, platform consolidations, or system redesigns.
Execution driven, capable of breaking down large programs into deliverable increments.
Commercially grounded, able to articulate the business value of technical decisions.
A clear communicator, able to adjust communication style for different audiences.
Experience owning platform or infrastructure-level product areas.
A track record of leading complex migrations, vendor transitions, or platform redesigns in production.
Experience in fintech, lending, payments or financial services.
Strong data skills and excitement about using AI tooling.
