About the Role

This role focuses on marketing within the music industry, with a secondary focus on A&R processes. You will contribute to innovative marketing campaigns and gain insights into artist development and release management.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit flyers, covers, and posters, as well as social media assets for artists.
• Manage the Ariola & Hansa social media channels.
• Plan, organize, and execute events, content days, photoshoots, video shoots, showcases, and listening sessions.
• Develop creative marketing ideas and support daily marketing operations.
• Keep all involved departments updated with current artist assets and maintain the folder structure.
• Support the A&R department and learn about release processes.
• Prepare data for upcoming release setups and pre-release assets.
• Assist in coordinating and communicating with songwriters, producers, and masterers.
• Format lyrics for streaming platforms.

Requirements

• Passion for music and interest in all areas of a record label.
• Knowledge of current trends in the digital world, social media, and streaming.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, potentially including MS Teams.
• Ability to create engaging image and video content using Canva, Photoshop, and Premiere.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable.
• Submit a CV or other creative format showcasing your abilities and suitability for Sony Music.
