About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our YouTube team, responsible for producing high-performance longform content for a leading automotive channel. This role involves shaping content that reaches millions of viewers weekly, working across various formats and requiring creativity and a deep understanding of YouTube performance.

Responsibilities

• Edit 1-2 longform YouTube videos per week to a high professional standard
• Shape pacing, storytelling, and retention with a strong understanding of YouTube audiences
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Editor and Project Manager on workflow and deadlines
• Attend occasional shoots (approx. 1–2 per month) to support filming and camera operation
• Use YouTube analytics to continuously improve subsequent video performance
• Leverage AI tools to enhance production (motion graphics, assets, workflows)

Requirements

• 3+ years professional editing experience
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro & After Effects
• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to edit for engagement and retention
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Experience working with YouTube content and/or automotive topics
• Confident communicator who can work autonomously and within a team
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• A genuine interest in cars and automotive culture
