About the Role
The Center for Lifespan Psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development is seeking a PhD candidate for the interdisciplinary project WildBrain. This project investigates how environmental transitions shape neural plasticity and behavioral individuality across mice and humans. The successful candidate will focus on the human aspect of the research, collaborating with experts in neuroimaging, behavioral neuroscience, and cross-species data integration.

Requirements
- Hold, or expect to hold by the starting date, a master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Hands-on knowledge in conducting experimental research
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong programming skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in English
- Documented skills in at least one programming language (preferably Matlab, R, or Python) are desirable
- Experience with the collection or analysis of MRI data is an advantage
