About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Post-production Producer (360° VR) to manage immersive post-production from raw footage to final delivery. This role is ideal for an experienced 360° VR video editor or immersive post-production specialist who wants to own the full pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entire 360° VR post-production process: stitching, color grading, compositing, finishing, and final delivery.
• Manage spatial audio post-production, including 3D audio editing and ambisonics processing.
• Maintain and develop the post-production pipeline, including proxy workflows and file structures.
• Ensure quality control at every stage of production for both image and audio.
• Coordinate with the Senior Postproduction Manager, content team, and tech teams, providing timely feedback.
• Accompany productions on-set when needed to ensure proper material capture for post-production.
• Serve as the final point of review before submission for various productions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience in 360° VR or immersive post-production.
• Independent project execution from rough stitch to delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Mistika VR (stitching & optical flow).
• Hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve (color grading & finishing).
• Hands-on experience with After Effects (compositing, effects, equirectangular workflows).
• Solid understanding of 3D spatial audio workflows (Ambisonics, Dolby Atmos, binaural rendering).
• Experience with proxy workflows and large file pipelines (RAW, ProRes, 8K+).
• Ability to organize raw footage for team collaboration.
• Familiarity with PM tools such as Microsoft Planner, Notion, or Confluence.
• Ability to maintain, document, and make project status transparent.
• Fluent in English and German for business communication.
