About the Role

Eucalyptus is seeking to expand its international presence, aiming to become the world's leading international consumer health platform. This role is central to that mission, focusing on evaluating, launching, and scaling operations in new global markets. The position offers high autonomy and accountability for driving significant growth and patient impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full due diligence process for new markets, including competitive landscape, regulatory environment, commercial sizing, pharmacy infrastructure, and pharma partnership opportunities.
  • Synthesize market research into an investment thesis for leadership go/no-go decisions.
  • Manage end-to-end market launches, from initial hiring to first patient acquisition.
  • Navigate complex systems, tools, and regulatory environments in new markets.
  • Build local teams and establish key partnerships, such as with pharmacy providers.
  • Drive rigorous project management to ensure all workstreams meet world-class standards.
  • Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) for launched markets.
  • Design and execute experiments to optimize funnels and make data-driven decisions.
  • Build systems to support team performance and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Hire and develop local talent, holding them accountable to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in high-pressure environments like law, consulting (MBB preferred), or investment banking.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of experience as an operator, preferably in a recent high-growth startup.
  • Experience in both consulting/banking and operating roles is highly valued.
  • Ability to build commercial models from scratch, articulate assumptions, and defend them.
  • Quickly grasp market dynamics, unit economics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Independently research new markets and produce clear, structured analyses for go/no-go decisions.
  • Proven negotiation skills in commercial discussions with partners and suppliers.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional workstreams with accountability.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing investment theses and creating clear slide decks.
  • Demonstrate a founder mindset, exhibiting resilience, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable writing SQL queries, building dashboards, and analyzing data independently (nice to have).
