About the Role
The central function of this position is to coordinate activities in the fashion showroom, including managing local and international sample loans and maintaining the showroom's standards for garment care and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of the FWFJ Press Showroom.
- Manage all local and international sample loan processes, overseeing logistical coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage, coordinate, and approve ad-hoc product transfer requests and loans from retail stock and CHANEL Fashion Boutiques.
- Work alongside FWFJ Corporate Senior Communications Manager on strategy, planning, and forecasting for a 12-month calendar.
- Negotiate, manage, and coordinate qualitative editorial placements and agreements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of brand-facing local events within the FWFJ division, including local image events for collection previews and product launches.
- Respond to media inquiries with appropriate content, tools, and details, adhering to local PR strategy and global guidelines.
- Work cross-functionally to prepare FWFJ related documents ahead of meetings, shoots, appointments, and press trips.
- Build and strengthen relationships with all media relations, fashion editors, journalists, influencers, and their teams/agents.
- Negotiate and execute all Fashion qualitative editorial placements and agreements in line with the strategy set by the Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewellery & Corporate Communications Senior Manager.
- Proactively seek out new and upcoming KOLs in the market, build and nurture these relationships.
Requirements
- Tertiary level qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Communications, Public Relations & Showroom Management.
- Awareness of luxury brand and/or Fashion, Watch & Fine Jewellery public relations.
- Understanding of Fashion and lifestyle media in Australia and New Zealand.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Knowledge and experience with Fashion GPS.
- Understanding of AX systems.
- Enthusiasm, proactivity, and ability to complex problem solve.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail.
