About the Role

Lead and support integrated global Corporate practice group business development, focusing on planning and delivering initiatives aligned with strategic priorities and firm objectives. This senior role involves shaping and executing BD strategies across multiple channels in collaboration with partners and the global marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support business development activity for the Corporate practice group.
  • Lead and develop a Business Development team supporting the group.
  • Own business planning and budget management for BD initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective BD infrastructure and processes.
  • Support partners on pitches and proposals, from strategy through to delivery.
  • Plan and deliver campaigns, events, and spotlight initiatives.
  • Drive client targeting activity in line with agreed priorities.
  • Manage communications and PR activity relevant to the group.
  • Coordinate legal directory and awards submissions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in marketing and business development within a professional services environment.
  • Experience of practice group and sector marketing, including pitching and campaigns.
  • Confidence managing budgets and translating strategy into practical activity.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with partners, colleagues, and external suppliers.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • A proactive, organised approach and a genuine interest in supporting business growth.
