Responsibilities
- Guide participants through the intricacies of market making via hands-on and classroom learning.
- Provide opportunities to explore tech career pathways and discover cutting-edge techniques.
- Showcase world-class trading systems in action.
- Teach core trading fundamentals and strategy building for virtual market deployment.
- Facilitate connections with recent graduates to share personal experiences.
- Offer mentorship and support from in-house trainers and senior developers.
- Provide an experience of Optiver's culture and perks.
Requirements
- Must be a pre-penultimate university student graduating in 2028 or 2029.
- All degree backgrounds are considered.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or have full working rights.
- Must be an inquisitive thinker with a passion for quantitative problems and collaborative environments.
- Must possess superior quantitative and logical reasoning skills.
- Must enjoy working on a variety of problems with a strong focus on results.
- Must be excited to test yourself in dynamic financial market areas.
