About the Role

As a senior FPGA developer, you will work with internal stakeholders to develop low latency execution and network optimisation platforms. You will be responsible for implementing key features, managing deployments, and ensuring system quality to maintain Optiver's market position.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and build solutions for low latency trading.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop optimal solutions.
  • Manage deployments to reduce risk and provide production support.
  • Maintain system quality through code reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and controls.
  • Provide advice and guidance to junior developers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FPGA development.
  • Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog.
  • Experience leading projects as a technical leader.
  • Basic skills in C++, C, or Python.
  • Experience working with Linux.
  • Understanding of computer networks and protocols including TCP, IP, and UDP.
