About the Role

We are seeking a senior/staff/principal level engineer to join our Sydney Production Software Engineering team. This team is responsible for all infrastructure, systems, tooling, and workflows that enable engineers to deploy, operate, and observe specialized, performance-sensitive trading systems. The role focuses on scaling change, increasing robustness, and reducing friction, with the potential to directly enable a faster and safer innovation cycle.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions using a mix of third-party and in-house technologies.
Own changes end-to-end, including business problem understanding, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Work closely with the team to support delivery, including requirements, architecture, or implementation.

Requirements

Extensive experience in software engineering, particularly designing and delivering systems at scale.
Deep knowledge of software systems, operating environments, and how distributed applications run in production.
A strong improvement mindset, with the ability to simplify complex systems and reduce operational friction.
