About the Role
Our Software Engineers build proprietary trading systems that directly impact financial markets, leveraging technology to solve complex problems. Our trading strategies require microsecond responses, precise pricing of diverse financial instruments, and extremely low error tolerance. We continuously refine, store, and analyze terabytes of market data. Our user interfaces provide coherent, responsive real-time visualizations and intuitive control of complex systems. Our core systems offer a stable, performant, and trusted foundation. At Optiver, we are engineers, not just coders, working closely with traders to identify and solve business problems with a disciplined, scientific approach, creating simple, well-architected solutions that meet dynamic needs.
