About the Role
Optiver, a leading market making firm, seeks an experienced sales trader to join its Institutional Trading team. This role involves contributing to a collaborative, high-impact environment, shaping trading strategies, and strengthening market relationships by providing liquidity across all market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key participants in the US ETF market.
- Partner with traders to understand Optiver’s trading strategies and liquidity offering.
- Handle and manage order flow through various execution venues.
- Develop participant profiles, reports, and insights to support counterparty engagement.
- Actively manage and update the CRM system for accurate relationship tracking.
- Represent Optiver at industry conferences and seminars.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of ETF market mechanics and key participants.
- Experience building relationships within the US ETF ecosystem.
- Ability to handle automated and directed order flow at scale.
- Open to travel and in-person meetings with current and potential counterparties.
- Deep understanding of rules and regulations governing the equity options markets.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

- $200,000 - $200,000 USD Base Salary
