About the Role

Reaktor is a global technology consulting firm originating from Finland. We provide consulting services that merge digital, design, and business to lead clients' digital services to success. We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Lead to further grow our Japan office. Would you like to practice user-centered agile development in the Japanese IT industry with us?

Responsibilities

  • Act as a member of the client's team to lead product development to success.
  • Explain technical content clearly, considering the listener's perspective and interests.
  • Understand the client's background (business, organization, culture, constraints, etc.) and make realistic proposals.
  • Facilitate communication and consensus-building with various stakeholders (management, business units, product, design, development teams, etc.).
  • Practice user-centered agile development with clients.
  • Communicate the value of agile development, learning and improving through small experiments, while understanding the context of Japanese large enterprises.
  • Contribute to development from a technical perspective.
  • Lead development if you have the necessary technical skills and experience.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding and implementation skills for high-quality design and code: Understand 'what constitutes good code' from both theoretical and experiential perspectives and be able to build high-quality systems.
  • Humility: A willingness to learn from others and improve together. Also, curiosity to learn new things independently.
  • Japanese language proficiency: Native/Bilingual
  • English language proficiency: Working proficiency
