About the Role
The Sales Associate assists in running all front-of-house fitness studio operations, focusing on premium customer service and meeting sales expectations. This role is responsible for exceeding key performance sales indicators, including membership sales and renewals, retail and concession sales, maximizing workout traffic, and maintaining premium customer service.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an effective referral program for membership growth
- Conduct telephone inquiries, follow-up calls, and customer care initiatives
- Warmly greet members and guests to foster a positive atmosphere
- Adhere to the studio cleaning checklist throughout shifts
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Generate new leads through member referrals, community outreach, and social media
- Convert leads into members through effective communication and outreach via cold calls and emails
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous sales experience with strong sales skills, preferably in a sales quota structure
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office basic programs (Word, Excel), Internet, and basic computer software
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or direct sales management/lead generation systems
