About the Role
The Solution Utilisation Specialist will drive a compliance-based sales approach within the ANZ Customer Experience (CXO) business. This role is key to identifying and resolving licensing non-compliance and usage risks, converting them into commercial opportunities, and supporting revenue growth through proactive customer engagement and strategic advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Proactively analyze customer licensing and usage data to detect non-compliance, overuse, and misuse.
- Conduct formal audits and internal compliance reviews using analytics tools.
- Advise account teams and customers on remediation strategies to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Turn compliance insights into upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities by structuring compelling commercial offers.
- Support pipeline growth by qualifying opportunities and accelerating deal progression through compliance-driven events.
- Lead sensitive, technical conversations with C-suite, IT, and legal representatives to drive compliance and value realization.
- Deliver education and outreach programs to improve customer understanding of licensing terms and standards.
- Achieve high customer retention by building trust and demonstrating the value of compliant software usage.
- Contribute to the formalization and continuous improvement of the License Advisory (LA) framework for CXO solutions.
- Standardize processes for compliance monitoring, reporting, and customer engagement across teams.
- Support change management and enablement initiatives to drive internal adoption and collaboration.
- Apply tools such as SUM Dashboard and Excel-based metrics to monitor and report on compliance status.
- Generate entitlement and usage reports, analyze spending trends, and provide actionable insights to customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a similar license compliance role.
- Experience preferably gained performing license compliance reviews, anti-piracy, and/or contracts work in a software company or in a major consulting organization.
- Knowledge of various compliance methodologies including using software tools for compliance reviews, licensing contracts, and software licensing models.
- Ability to project manage engagements within a positive and professional customer relationship.
