About the Role
Beam is seeking Founding Account Executives to open a new market in Australia. The role involves converting existing market demand for Beam's AI-powered platform, which reduces administrative tasks for frontline workers in social care. This is an opportunity to build a career by establishing Beam's presence in Sydney and Melbourne.
Responsibilities
- Own your pipeline from day one, generating leads through initial outreach to closing deals.
- Sell into enterprise NFPs, NDIS providers, disability and aged care organisations, and government-adjacent human services bodies.
- Build relationships with decision-makers at CEO, COO, and operational leadership levels.
- Feed market intelligence back to the product and leadership teams.
- Contribute to the Australian sales playbook.
Requirements
- Proven ability to sell something genuinely new to mission-driven buyers and build lasting relationships.
- Experience selling in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Resilience and self-direction.
- Ability to communicate effectively at a senior level.
- Comfort with ambiguity and curiosity about the sector.
- Sector-adjacent experience (e.g., medtech, govtech, regulated environments) is beneficial.
