About the Role

RGA is seeking an experienced individual to play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing its technology and cyber risk management strategy. Leveraging advanced knowledge and expertise in cyber and risk technology-risk disciplines, you will identify, oversee, and support the mitigation of compliance and operational risks. You will collaborate with various business, risk and 1st line technology stakeholders across RGA to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the cyber and technology risk posture and its impact on the business. Your work will contribute to the long-term success and resilience of the organization in an ever-evolving technology landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Support VP, Technology Risk with comprehensive IT domain risk assessments.
  • Lead implementation of globally aligned Enterprise IT Risk Management framework standards and policies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to technology process owners.
  • Engage with global risk owners to challenge and validate risk assessments and treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with Global Security Office and Global Technology teams to develop and implement automated risk reporting, including KRIs and control indicators.
  • Support regional business entities in meeting compliance requirements for regulations (e.g., OSFI, DORA, NYDFS, MAS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
  • 9+ Years of experience in 1st line cyber and tech technical roles, IT risk management, audit, and risk programs process automation.
  • Strong technical competence and in-depth understanding of IT domains, risk frameworks, and emerging risks.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
  • Ability to guide, influence, and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Strong software development life cycle skills, including business requirements, test planning, training content, and production coordination.
  • Project management skills, including objective evaluation, scope feasibility, resource scheduling, and budget management.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • CISSP certification.
  • CRISC certification.

Salary/Compensations

  • $124,9000 to $159,390
  • Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location.
