About the Role

The Production Associate meets production demands, ensuring quality and safety standards. This role is at a Land O’Lakes Dairy Foods manufacturing facility, creating dairy products and improving production.

Responsibilities

• Meet production demands while ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Attend to product transfer from filler to chiller.
• Inform supervisors or leads of product information discrepancies.
• Transfer production carts in and out of chillers, placing them orderly in the WIP area.
• Orient product alignment in the Garvey table area.
• Flip trays in chillers as needed.
• Rework products below specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following the “5 S” program.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Comply with Food and Personal Safety Procedures, company policies, and regulations.
• Perform other assigned duties, including transferring to the Kitchen area as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Possess basic mathematical skills.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in noisy environments.
• Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work across temperature zones (cold/hot) for extended periods and in dusty environments.

Skills

• Self-reliant.
• Ability to work accurately under limited supervision.

Location

Work Type

• Full-time
• 4:00 pm – 1:30 am shift
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Hours subject to business needs

Education Level

• High School diploma or GED-equivalent

Salary/Compensations

• $22.28 per hour
• $1.00 per hour shift differential (after 8:00pm)
