About the Role
At Hembree Bell Law Firm, we help marriages end well. We are growing fast and seeking an experienced, vibrant family law attorney to join our team in Austin. This role involves representing families navigating divorce, custody, SAPCRs, and other matters with heart, strategy, and strength.
Responsibilities
- Lead caseload and develop strategic client approaches
- Represent clients in contested family law matters (hearings, mediation, trial)
- Facilitate resolutions through negotiation, not solely litigation
- Apply knowledge of Texas Family Code and TRCP
- Counsel clients with clarity, compassion, and pragmatism
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience handling contested family law cases
- Active Texas State Bar License
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Base: $120,000-$150,000 Salary
- Performance-based bonus compensation (Quarterly + Annually)
- $170,000+ OTE (On Target Earnings)
