About the Role

Clio is seeking an Account Executive to join our closing team in Sydney, reporting to our Senior Sales Manager for APAC. This is Clio's first role in the region dedicated to upsell and cross-sell, making it a rare opportunity to build the playbook and set the standard for customer growth across APAC. The Customer Sales team in APAC is focused on helping legal professionals get the most from Clio's all-in-one product ecosystem. As an Account Executive, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to existing customers, guiding them toward greater efficiency and better client service. You'll own the upsell and cross-sell motion for APAC, working across our full suite of solutions including our core platforms and our AI offering Clio Manage AI. Your role involves proactively uncovering customer needs, demonstrating the value of our integrated technology, and delivering tailored solutions to their most complex challenges. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, customer success, and partnerships teams to drive customer growth and satisfaction across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Leading upsell and cross-selling across Clio's full suite of solutions for APAC customers
  • Converting qualified opportunities through phone, email, and product demonstrations
  • Using Salesforce to prioritise, organise, and manage qualified leads and opportunities
  • Tracking key metrics including qualified lead volume and conversion rates across the funnel
  • Collaborating with Support, SDRs/BDRs, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Engineers to deliver solutions
  • Forecasting, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Developing business cases for customers
  • Identifying expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience, including closing deals
  • 3 years of experience in SaaS or technology
  • Experience managing complex deal cycles with high-value customers
  • Knowledge of and passion for cloud-based technology
  • Experience running product demonstrations
  • A competitive mindset and cold calling skills
  • A coachable, collaborative approach
  • Ability to advocate for clients, passing feedback and feature requests to product teams and facilitating conversations around potential enhancements
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans to drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or Sales Navigator is a plus
  • A genuine interest in using AI to improve your craft

Salary/Compensations

  • Expected salary range: $101,700 to $127,100 to $152,500 AUD
  • Expected new hire commission range: $101,700 to $127,100 to $152,500 AUD
  • Commission earnings are uncapped
