About the Role
The Roadmap Planning & Program Management team sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, planning and delivering the company’s priority products while providing executives visibility and input for bi-annual releases. This role drives impact on the company roadmap and scales product-focused program management, fostering cross-functional collaboration across design, product marketing, engineering, supply, marketing, operations, and other teams. Program Managers improve the quality and velocity of work across cross-functional teams by acting as a "force multiplier," bringing clarity, diving into details, and communicating clearly. Success is defined by critical thinking, attention to detail, big-picture perspective, and influencing key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering, product marketing, design, community support, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software product programs on schedule.
- Understand dependencies across functions to optimize the overall system and deliver high-quality offerings at scale.
- Simplify complex information through world-class communication.
- Anticipate and proactively develop risk mitigation strategies in a fast-paced environment.
- Apply an experienced product mindset to connect strategy and execution.
- Develop unique program plans requiring strategic thinking for each initiative.
- Tailor communication style and approach across various altitudes.
- Collaborate effectively with an understanding of consumer, technology, and design.
- Drive issues to resolution beyond status reporting.
- Understand best practices, drive improvements, and focus on simplification.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in program management, product management, or business operations managing complex software product programs end-to-end.
- Strong product or technology experience, including product management or software engineering (software preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to ship software products at global scale, overcoming challenges.
- Critical thinking skills to develop bespoke program plans.
- World-class verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex topics.
- Exceptional influencing and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and act as a trusted agent for change with business leaders up to the executive level.
- Track record of successfully managing ambitious, operationally complex projects with cross-functional teams across product development, product marketing, design, marketing, and operations.
- Expertise in program management tools (e.g., Airtable, Asana, Jira, Smartsheets).
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity within a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization.
