About the Role

The Analyst will provide technical services to support the day-to-day operation of IT systems including networks, business applications, backup, Office 365, Azure Cloud, Security, and hardware/software server platforms. This position is responsible for supporting the disaster recovery plan to ensure minimal disruptions to business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Azure environments.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and tuning.
  • Maintain key Business Applications for optimal operational system support.
  • Participate in development and support projects related to Business Applications.
  • Develop documentation on system configuration, operational procedures, backup and disaster recovery procedures of all Infrastructure and Business Systems.
  • Ensure all users are informed of relevant procedures for corporate security protection.
  • Design and maintain security to protect cloud data, applications, and infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks.
  • Investigate incidents and develop remedial prevention techniques.
  • Develop and implement sufficient measures to detect cyber threats, including regular patching and vulnerability scanning.
  • Assess security risk and report identified issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum: University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Information Management, or related disciplines.
  • Preferred: Degree in Computer Science with Specialty in related disciplines.
  • Preferred Certification: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Security, Networking.
  • Minimum: 3 years’ experience in Information Technology working with servers, Azure cloud, Office 365, network, security and patch management.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years progressive Information Technology experience working with servers, Azure cloud, network, security, project, and vendor management in a regulated industry or public utility setting.
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint.
  • Certification in vendor installed products would be an asset.
