About the Role

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Counter Sales professional to join their team. This role focuses on assisting retail customers, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service within a dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure customers are aware of all available options.
• Retrieve purchased parts from inventory or determine availability if not in stock, prepare parts requisitions, and submit orders.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information to customers.
• Order parts not in stock for required repairs according to company policies.
• Process all cash, credit, charge, purchase order, invoice, and tax-exempt sales in accordance with company policies.
• Issue credit for returned parts according to company policies.
• Assist in maintaining a balanced inventory consistent with the needs of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts, and self-service customers.
• Provide the same high-quality level of service to internal dealership customers as provided to external customers.
• Adhere to all attendance and punctuality standards and timekeeping requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company policy.
• Attend pertinent training as requested.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• 2 years' experience in a truck/Car dealership environment (preferably in counter sales).
• High school diploma or equivalent and one-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Type

• Monday to Friday; 7:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday shift and afternoon coverages as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent

Salary/Compensations

• $28-$32 hourly
