About the Role
This core role involves fixing robots, both hardware and firmware, and collaborating with Operations and the USA team. The role requires travel to customer sites across the US to debug issues, coordinate with HQ in Switzerland, and apply fixes. This is the first robot fixer position on the ground for US expansion.
Responsibilities
- Keep US robots running by debugging and fixing hardware issues on-site
- Coordinate maintenance and support with onsite technicians and security guards
- Organize robot logistics, including shipping and spare robot locations
Requirements
- Relevant experience with hands-on projects involving electronics and moving mechanical components
- Multidisciplinary, willing to replace robot parts and learn new tools
- Valid US work visa or citizenship
- Goal-driven and independent, prioritizing robot functionality
- Ability to work under pressure due to tight deadlines or customer observation
- Ready to travel often and on short notice
