About the Role

The Client Service team connects clients with subject-matter experts for informed business and investment decisions. This Associate role is central to delivering a fast, high-quality client experience by assessing needs, identifying experts, and recruiting new advisors into Guidepoint's global network. The role supports Corporate clients in healthcare, general industry, and AI lab research, requiring comfort with complex topics and quick learning.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit new experts into Guidepoint’s network for client consultations.
  • Independently conduct targeted research using public sources to identify subject-matter experts.
  • Support Corporate client requests across various research-intensive topics.
  • Break down complex client questions into expert profiles, sourcing strategies, and screening criteria.
  • Conduct targeted research to identify professionals with specific technical, scientific, healthcare, market, or industry expertise.
  • Lead cold outreach, phone-based vetting, and screening conversations with experts.
  • Evaluate expert depth, relevance, and credibility for corporate research requests.
  • Define sourcing strategies based on project scope, urgency, and target expert profile.
  • Manage multiple fast-moving client requests, balancing deadlines and maintaining high execution standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Previous relevant internship, volunteer, research, or extracurricular experience.
  • Interest in corporate research, AI, healthcare, technology, science, engineering, or market research.
  • Academic or professional experience in a quantitatively rigorous, analytical, scientific, technical, healthcare, market research, business, economics, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
  • Curiosity about emerging technology and willingness to build skills with new tools.
  • Ambitious and thrives in competitive, fast-paced environments.
  • Motivated to build client-facing careers in consulting, advisory, investment research, corporate research, account management, customer success, or sales.
  • Intellectually curious and energized by technical, scientific, healthcare, emerging technology, and market research topics.

Salary/Compensations

  • $70,000 annual base salary.
  • Eligible for a yearly bonus of up to $4,000 based on performance.
  • Potential for promotion to Project Manager with a base salary of $75,000 and monthly commission.
