About the Role
BuildOps develops groundbreaking software for commercial contractors, reimagining service management and project execution. This role involves transforming the industry-leading platform to capture new demand and fuel innovation. The role requires partnering with customers to understand their operational needs, translating these into solutions that drive measurable outcomes, and collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and leadership, while being accountable for customer-driven KPIs and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision and roadmap for the Platform, driving strategy and execution with a cross-functional squad.
- Lead cross-functional teams in platform optimization to increase squad velocity and product quality.
- Engage with enterprise and SMB customers to uncover needs, validate solutions, and solve real problems.
- Design scalable solutions, communicating tradeoffs to internal stakeholders.
- Leverage AI and ML to innovate and improve velocity and quality internally and externally.
- Align roadmap with company objectives, prioritizing opportunities and tradeoffs with other teams.
- Lead go-to-market and change management, communicating launches and partnering with Customer Success for adoption.
- Run effective beta programs, capturing feedback for experience refinement.
- Define and track KPIs to improve platform value and support revenue and retention goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- 5+ years in Product Management for B2B SaaS.
- Experience leading complex cross-cutting platform initiatives.
- Experience building end-to-end product experiences, including prototyping and solution development with AI coding assistants.
- Strong familiarity with enterprise software considerations.
- Mission-driven mindset, motivated by challenges faced by commercial subcontractors.
- Experience in a technical environment with basic SQL skills and proficiency in analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and effective collaboration with engineering and design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, using quantitative and qualitative data for product strategy and prioritization.

Salary/Compensations
- Toronto: 172,000.00 - 215,000.00 CAD base + annual bonus opportunity
- Raleigh: $190,000.00 - $234,000.00 base + annual bonus opportunity
